¿Qué es el Açaí?

El Açaí es el mayor antioxidante rica en nutrientes, lo que le convierte en un potente reductor de los radicales libres; previene el envejecimiento y gracias a su contenido en ácidos grasos esenciales omega 3, 6 y 9, protege contra las enfermedades cardiovasculares.

Además está formado por un 40% de fibra y su alta concentración de hidratos de carbono, proteínas y grasa vegetal lo hacen ideal para personas deportistas y muy activas.

Esta fruta es conocida y utilizada hace siglos por las tribus indígenas, aunque solo recientemente han sido descubiertas por el resto del mundo, poniéndose de moda como un superalimento.

Depurativa
Refuerza las defensas
Diurético
Disminuye los niveles de colesterol malo (LDL)
Combate el estreñimiento por su alto contenido en fibra

Hay muchas formas de poder consumir el Açaí:

Como helado
Con yogurt
En forma de smoothie
Para el desayuno mezclado con frutas
Con chía
Con cereales, granola, avena, etc.
En tostada
Etc.

A mí personalmente me encanta desayunarlo y hay veces que lo meriendo en un local en San Sebastián que se llama Uh-mami, está en el barrio de Gros (Calle Zabaleta, 61) tienen muchos smoothies, batidos y bowls súper ricos. Es un local pequeño pero perfecto para pedirte un Açaí bowl y tomártelo en la Zurriola con vistas al mar.

Hoy os traigo una receta para preparar un buen Açaí para que te dé toda la energía que necesitas para el resto del día. Fácil, rico, súper sabroso y nutritivo, ¿qué más se puede pedir para empezar el día?

RECETA AÇAÍ

Comensales: 1-2 personas
Dificultad: Fácil
Tiempo: 15 minutos

Ingredientes

1 tableta de pulpa de açaí congelada
1 plátano y medio
1 puñado de Arándanos y frambuesas
1 puñado de nueces pacanas
1 c.s. de coco rallado
Sirope de ágave
1 puñado de muesli

Elaboración

Pelamos el plátano y lo echamos a la Thermomix o a la batidora. Velocidad máxima hasta que los dos ingredientes queden completamente mezclados.
En un cuenco echamos una cucharada sopera de muesli en la base y encima echamos la mezcla de Açaí y plátano.
Cortamos el 1/2 plátano en rodajas de 1/2 cm de grosor y lo colocamos encima de la mezcla (para hacerlo más bonito puedes colocar los «toppings» en filas como en la foto)
Hacemos una fila de coco rallado
y finalmente echamos los arándanos, las frambuesas congeladas y las nueces pecanas por encima.
¡Et voilà! Ya está listo para empezar a tope el día
